The Bislimi Group Foundation calls upon all interested candidates to apply for this year’s Education for Peace Scholarships. The 2010 EFP scholarships are being granted and hosted by Northwestern Polytechnic University (NPU). NPU is an accredited university based in Fremont, California. It was founded in 1984. NPU's Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral Degree Programs are designed to prepare students for the practice of engineering, computer science, and business administration at a professional level. In addition to courses teaching the fundamentals, each degree curriculum is designed to be connected to Silicon Valley's major industries in electronics, computer engineering, information technology, enterprise management, and global business development.
This year we are offering a total of five EFP Scholarships: three for undergraduate (bachelor) and two for MBA studies. The deadline to submit complete applications is October 22, 2010. To be considered for an undergraduate scholarship, an applicant must: n have finished high school with at least a 4.5/5.0 cumulative GPA n have proficiency in spoken, written, and read English proven by a TOEFL score of at least 70 points (iBT) n be able to cover living expenses and additional fees n be interested in studying engineering, computer science, business administration or a related field n be a citizen of Kosovo. To apply, please submit the following documents to our office by October 22, 2010: n a CV / Resume n copy of your passport n original or school certified copies of your transcripts and diploma n TOEFL score n Letter of Purpose (max 2 pages) n Two letters of recommendation from your professors (in English) To be considered for an MBA scholarship, an applicant must: n have completed a BA or BSc degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 9.0/10.0 n have proficiency in spoken, written, and read English proven by a TOEFL score of at least 70 points (iBT) n have taken GMAT n be able to cover living expenses and additional fees n be a citizen of Kosovo.
